Entrance Requirements
The
Fellowship Home is open to any male, 18 years of age or older
with a history of alcoholism or drug dependency and a desire to
maintain a sober, substance-free lifestyle. All clients must have
completed the detoxification process prior to entering the program.
Clients
may be referred by any public or private service agency. Clients
may also request consideration for services themselves. Eligible
men are admitted as quickly as possible, however; there is often
a waiting list. All applicants are screened by The Fellowship
Home staff prior to admission and are required to present proof
of identity namely, a picture ID such as driver's license or state
ID and a social security card.
Applicants
taking prescription medication must bring their own and we require
a written doctor's report including authorization to self-medicate.
Fees and Funding
The Fellowship Home's budget is received from residents paying
a modest rent, grants, Gifts-In-Kind, and the United
Way. Additional support is provided by a wide variety of community,
business, and civic organizations.
